Deborah Ross wins second term in 2nd Congressional District

U.S. Rep. Deborah Ross won reelection in the 2nd Congressional District.

RALEIGH — U.S. Rep. Deborah Ross won a second term in North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District on Tuesday, defeating Republican challenger Christine Villaverde.

Ross, who served in the General Assembly and was the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate in 2016, was first elected in 2020 in the Wake County district.
