RALEIGH — Republican incumbent Rep. Brenden Jones won against Democratic challenger Tim Heath in Columbus and Robeson counties’ NC House District 46 60% to 40%. The vote totals are 16,920 for Jones and 11,094 for Heath.
Jones is a small business owner in Tabor City who has served two terms, while Heath is a retired teacher and coach in Robeson County.
