Six-day hold delays ACC kickoff time announcement until Sunday

This weekend's games will dictate start times for Nov. 9-11 games

The ACC and its television partners have invoked the dreaded “six-day hold” on all but one of the league’s football games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 9-11.

That means with the exception of Duke, which plays at Army in a previously announced noon kickoff on CBS Sports Network, along with North Carolina and Pittsburgh, which meet at Heinz Field at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, fans all around the ACC will have to wait until after this week’s games are played — likely Sunday morning — before being able to make plans to attend their favorite teams’ games.

The affected matchups include NC State at Boston College, Wake Forest at Syracuse, Florida State at Clemson, Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech, Virginia at Louisville and Notre Dame at Miami.
