GREENVILLE, N.C. — Reggie Gallaspy doesn’t get many carries, but when he does he makes them count. The NC State sophomore running back finally got his time to shine in the second quarter against ECU. With the Wolfpack trailing, 12-0, Gallaspy looked to be heading out of bounds with two ECU defenders set chasing him down. Instead, Gallaspy rerouted and bulldozed his way through Travon Simmons. He then finished the play with authority, rushing another 15 yards for the touchdown.Early candidate for run of the day. #Wolfpack RB Reggie Gallaspy runs through #ECU for the TD. pic.twitter.com/PdWAFej4t7— Brad Crawford (@BCrawford247) September 10, 2016

Gallaspy with the best run of his college career. He barrels through defenders for a 37-yard TD. NC State strikes back.— Pack Pride (@PackPride) September 10, 2016
The 37-yard touchdown completely turned the tide for NC State, who took a 20-19 lead into the half. In a rivalry game where every point counts, Gallaspy’s run made up for a lot of miscues by NC State throughout the first two quarters of play.
