Duke continued its stranglehold on the ACC Player of the Week Awards as Marvin Bagley III won Player and Rookie of the Week.

Through three weeks, Blue Devils have won all six awards. The only blemish on Duke’s perfect record is the ACC Player of the Week honor that Bagley shared with UNC’s Luke Maye in Week 1.

Bagley swept player and rookie honors for the second time in three weeks. Last week, Grayson Allen (player) and Wendell Carter Jr. (rookie) won the awards.

Bagley had 106 points and 53 rebounds in three games to win MVP of the PK80 Motion Bracket. He also became the first Blue Devil in school history to have back-to-back 30-point, 15-rebound games.

In a comeback win over Texas, Bagley tied the Duke freshman record with 34 points. His six double-doubles in eight games are tied for the NCAA lead.
