NC State led all local teams with three first-team All-ACC players.

The teams were announced by the league on Monday, and only Clemson (6) and Virginia Tech (4) had more representation than the Wolfpack on the first-team.

Junior Nyheim Hines was chosen as first-team running back, along with Boston College’s AJ Dillon. Hines was also chosen as third-team specialist.

Senior Jaylen Samuels was chosen as the first-team all-purpose back, and Bradley Chubb was named first-team defensive end. Chubb had the highest vote total of any defensive player.

State also had three second-teamers: Wide receiver Kelvin Harmon, guard Tony Adams and tackle Will Richardson. In addition to Hines, quarterback Ryan Finley was chosen for the third team.

State’s eight players on the first, second and third teams was tied with Wake Forest for third most, behind Clemson (13) and Miami (10).

Wake had one first-teamer: Tight end Cam Serigne. Five Demon Deacons made second team: Center Ryan Anderson, All-purpose back Greg Dortch, kicker Mike Weaver, quarterback John Wolford and defensive end Duke Ejiofor. Wake’s two third-teamers were tackle Justin Herron and guard Phil Haynes.

Duke had two first-team All-ACC selections: Linebacker Joe Giles-Harris and corner Mark Gilbert. The Blue Devils also had three third-teamers: Center Austin Davis, defensive tackle Mike Ramsay and safety Jeremy McDuffie.

UNC had one player honored on two different teams. Wide receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams was chosen as the first-team kick returner, as well as the third-team all-purpose back.

The four teams also combined for 11 honorable mention players.

Wake Forest (4): Specialist Greg Dortch, cornerback Essang Bassey, safety Jessie Bates III, punter Dom Maggio

NC State (3): Center Garrett Bradbury, defensive tackle B.J. Hill, punter A.J. Cole

Duke (2): Wide Receiver T.J. Rahming all-purpose back Shaun Wilson
