RALEIGH — A new national political consulting firm based out of Charlotte was announced last week.
Gamechangers Strategies says it will offer services such as political consulting, advertising, media production and public affairs and also have a sports communications arm, according to a press release issued by Jordan Shaw, the president and founder of the new group.
“At Gamechangers Strategies, we’re all about one thing: winning,” the firm’s website states. “Whether you’re running for office, shaping public opinion, or facing a communications crisis, we know how to change the game… and win.”
Before launching Gamechangers, Shaw was a partner at the national firm OnMessage for the past seven years.
“I am thrilled to launch Gamechangers Strategies,” Shaw said in a press release. “I’ve been blessed to work with incredible people over the last two decades in this business. I look forward to helping Gamechangers clients — current and future — run to win.”
Shaw has been a successful strategist in the Tarheel State, boasting a clientele that includes U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis, N.C. House Speaker Destin Hall (R-Granite Falls), as well as the N.C. House Republican Caucus and some North Carolina’s Congressional delegation members.
Tillis offered praise for the newly formed firm.
“Jordan has been a trusted advisor since my tenure as Speaker of the North Carolina House, and he was instrumental in guiding the two most expensive U.S. Senate campaigns in our state’s history to victory,” Tillis said in the press release. “Since then, his strategic insight has helped Republicans succeed in some of the toughest races across the country. I’m proud to have him back on-board for my re-election campaign.”
