RALEIGH —Washington, D.C., government relations firm Miller Strategies has formed a strategic partnership with North Carolina’s Checkmate Government Relations and Public Affairs.
Checkmate was started in late 2023 by one of North Carolina’s top lobbyists, Ches McDowell, who is the firm’s managing partner.

Services offered through the partnership include federal lobbying and government relations, state and local government relations services, and “50-state advocacy, economic development, political intelligence, international relations, coalition development, communications, and traditional public affairs campaigns.”
