RALEIGH — Tech giant Lenovo on Monday announced the launch of year four of its Evolve Small initiative, which leverages artificial intelligence to support small businesses with financial aid, technology and mentorship.
Since its inception in 2021, Evolve Small has assisted thousands of entrepreneurs across the country by providing millions of dollars in resources. In year four, small businesses in 10 major metropolitan areas throughout North America will receive an AI Grant. The grant will feature AI solutions for small businesses and provide access to experts for training on implementing AI into their day-to-day work.
Since its launch four years ago, Evolve Small has provided nearly $5 million in grants and resources to small businesses across North America.
“By using AI for good, we can help small businesses thrive like never before,” said Milo Speranzo, chief marketing officer for Lenovo North America.
Through its partnerships with Intel, Microsoft and Goodie Nation, the program also provides mental health and leadership coaching, led by Chantel Cohen of CWC Coaching and Therapy.
“What sets Evolve Small apart is that it goes beyond funding and is focused on building lasting ecosystems of support,” Joey Womack, CEO and founder of Goodie Nation, said. “We’ve seen businesses transform through this program and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Lenovo to continue to support businesses that make a positive impact on their communities every day.”
