As North and South Carolinians prepare for Hurricane Helene, which is already causing severe damage to the Southeast, including high winds, flash flooding, and power outages, Spectrum has opened more than 33,800 WiFi Access Points in the two states. These access points allow wireless devices to connect to a wired network in case of power outages and loss of internet service. They act as a bridge between devices and the network, enabling wireless access to network resources. Spectrum’s 38,000 WiFi access points are open to all users across both states until further notice.
Visit spectrum.com/wifi-hotspots for more information on the location of Spectrum WiFi Access Points. To connect your device, look for the “SpectrumWiFi” network under your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
