RALEIGH — 45th President Donald Trump announced the addition of more speakers at Saturday’s Johnston County rally.

Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson and U.S. Reps. Dan Bishop (NC-09) and Greg Murphy (NC-03) will also speak on Saturday evening. They join U.S. Rep. Madison Cawthorn (NC-11) and Ted Budd, who Trump endorsed and is coming to support ahead of the May 17 U.S. Senate Republican primary.

“This Save America rally is a continuation of President Trump’s unprecedented effort to advance the MAGA agenda by energizing voters and highlighting America First candidates and causes,” a quote from his Save America PAC says.

Budd commented as well, noting a surge of momentum following two new polls in the last two weeks have shown him leading the race.

“We’ve gone from 40 points down at the start of this campaign to having a commanding lead in two polls in two days and our campaign momentum is only going to increase with President Donald Trump’s rally this weekend,” said Budd.
