Childress sits on the board of AMMO, Inc., a publicly-traded company.

The Fox News report states that Childress and the company will work through a private company to overcome logistical hurdles to get the ammunition to Ukraine.

“This is a wake-up call for America, and why we have to have our Second Amendment,” he said in the interview with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade.
