RALEIGH – Gov. Roy Cooper will hold an in-person briefing today at the Emergency Operations Center at 3 p.m. in Raleigh, the first open to press in over a year.

According to Gov. Cooper’s schedule, he and administration members will give updates on COVID-19 and the latest on the pandemic.

North State Journal has repeatedly asked for in-person briefings after not being allowed to ask questions via the online platform.

The administration-controlled audio and video goes against RTDNA practices and other outlets have complained of similar treatment.
