ELON — Keyshaun Langley had a career-high 21 points as UNC Greensboro topped Elon 71-64 on Saturday.

Angelo Allegri had 14 points for UNC Greensboro (4-3). Isaiah Miller added 12 points. Mohammed Abdulsalam had 11 rebounds.

Khyre Thompson, the Spartans’ second leading scorer entering the contest at 10.0 points per game, had just 2 points. He shot 0 of 5 from behind the arc.

Hunter Woods had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Phoenix (3-1). Ikenna Ndugba added 15 points and six rebounds.

UNC Greensboro matches up against NC A&T on the road on Tuesday. Elon matches up against Northeastern on the road next Saturday.

East Carolina 73, James Madison 64

GREENVILLE — Brandon Suggs had 18 points off the bench to carry East Carolina to a 73-64 win over James Madison on Saturday.

Bitumba Baruti had 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals for East Carolina (6-1), which earned its fifth straight home victory. Tristen Newton added 14 points and six rebounds. Jayden Gardner had 13 points.

Matt Lewis had 19 points and six rebounds for the Dukes (2-2). Justin Amadi added 10 points and Terrence Edwards had eight rebounds.

Charlotte 76, North Carolina A&T 72

CHARLOTTE — Jahmir Young made 9 of 11 shots for a career-high 27 points and Milos Supica had a double-double in Charlotte’s 76-72 win Saturday over North Carolina A&T.

Supica had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Brice Williams was the only other 49ers player in double figures with 11 points. Quentin Jones scored 19 for the Aggies, who fell to 3-8 on the season.

Charlotte (3-3) travels to George Washington on Tuesday before starting Conference USA play Jan. 1 against Western Kentucky. North Carolina A&T plays UNC Greensboro on Tuesday in its final nonconference game before beginning MEAC play Dec. 29.

High Point 71, William & Mary 49

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Lydell Elmore and John-Michael Wright each scored 14 points as High Point easily beat William & Mary 71-49 on Saturday.

Bryson Childress chipped in 12 points and Ahmil Flowers had 10 points and seven rebounds for High Point (2-4).

Luke Loewe had 13 points for the Tribe (2-2). Yuri Covington added 10 points. Quinn Blair had 10 rebounds.
