UNCG fell to 1-2 with a loss to Duquesne

ASHEVILLE — Kellan Grady had 22 points as Davidson edged past UNLV 77-73 in the Maui Invitational on Wednesday night. Hyunjung Lee added 21 points for the Wildcats.

Carter Collins had 18 points for Davidson (2-2). Luka Brajkovic added 10 points. The victory moved coach Bob McKillop one game closer to the 500-win mark, giving him 596 in his 32 seasons with the Wildcats.

Bryce Hamilton had 27 points for the Runnin’ Rebels (0-4), whose season-opening losing streak reached four games. David Jenkins Jr. added 18 points.

Duquesne 81, UNC Greensboro 68

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Tavian Dunn-Martin had 21 points as Duquesne topped UNC Greensboro 81-68 on Wednesday night.

Dunn-Martin hit 4 of 6 3-pointers.

Marcus Weathers had 18 points and seven rebounds for Duquesne (1-1). Sincere Carry added 15 points, and Michael Hughes had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Isaiah Miller had 22 points for the Spartans (1-2). Angelo Allegri added 14 points and A.J. McGinnis had 13 points.
