Galey wins competitive 24th N.C. Senate District

Alamance County Commissioner Amy Galey won the seat for N.C. Senate District 24

RALEIGH – Alamance County Commissioner Amy Galey defeated Democrat J.D. Wooten in a close battle in the 24th state Senate district. 

Galey, a Republican, will succeed state Sen. Rick Gunn, who has represented the district since 2011.
