WHATLEY: 47 years of failure is enough

The Democratic National Convention is thankfully coming to an end. Tonight, Joe Biden will accept his party’s nomination via yet another Zoom call as he continues to hide from voters and the press. During his speech, he’ll tell us he’s the one to solve America’s problems. Don’t fall for it.

Joe Biden has been in some form of elected office for 47 years. He’s the definition of a career politician. He’s been trying and failing to address America’s issues since the early 1970’s as a Senator and then Vice President, and now wants to become President.

Alarmingly, Biden’s third bid for President will be his most liberal yet. The man who has lived off of your taxes for a half-century now wants to raise America’s taxes by $4 trillion dollars. Never mind the fact that Biden has had taxpayer-funded armed security for the majority of his adult life – he and Kamala Harris are on a mission to fundamentally undermine your police and attack your Second Amendment rights.

President Trump is perfectly suited to take Biden down. As a true outsider, President Trump won in 2016 with a promise to drain the swamp and bring a common-sense approach to Washington, D.C. Just like he created jobs as a businessman, President Trump gave us the greatest economy the world has ever seen. Now he’s doing it again, leading us through a Great American Comeback.

We elected President Trump to defeat career politicians like Joe Biden, and that’s why we’ll elect him again.
