RALEIGH – Joe Biden’s presidential campaign released a new ad aimed at black communities featuring N.C. Rep. James Gailliard of Rocky Mount.
Gailliard, senior pastor of Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount, says President Trump’s COVID-19 response and ineffective approaches to building a stable middle class as reasons for Americans to support Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris.
The Biden campaign also said it will begin airing ads geared towards African American voters this week, featuring his “Build Back Better” plans on cable, radio, and digital channels this week as part of a $26 million advertising push this week.
Gailliard faces Republican John Check in a rematch of his narrow 2018 win in the Nash County state House district.
