TAYLORSVILLE — A North Carolina sheriff’s office has filed charges against a woman who they say fired two shots at utility workers 150 feet up in the air on a cell tower.
The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office says in a news release Tuesday that deputies responding to a call on Sunday said the workers told them the woman cursed at them and then fired two shots.
The sheriff’s office says the woman barricaded herself inside her home and wouldn’t respond to commands. She was removed from the home and arrested.
The sheriff’s office says 61-year-old Susan Lynn Moore is charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest, and she’s jailed on a $10,000 secured bond.
