NC State’s come-from-behind Senior Day win against Miami on Sunday helped earn the Wolfpack the No. 3 seed and a double bye in this week’s ACC women’s basketball tournament.

Coach Wes Moore’s 10th-ranked team is the highest seeded of the four state teams in the event, which begins with first round games involving 11th-seeded Duke and No. 15 Wake Forest on Wednesday at Greensboro Coliseum.

North Carolina, the No. 8 seed, will play its first game on Thursday.

Regular season co-champion Notre Dame earned the top seed in tournament for the fifth time since joining the ACC in 2013-14. Louisville, which shared the title with the Irish, is the No. 2 seed while Miami received the fourth and final bye into Friday’s quarterfinals.

The semifinals are set for Saturday with the championship game scheduled for Sunday at noon.
