In-state schools won four of the ACC’s nine weekly award categories, after Wake Forest, UNC and NC State all posted wins this weekend.

Wake Forest, who put up 64 points and a school record 715 total yards against Syracuse, had two offensive players honored.

Quarterback John Wolford won ACC Offensive Back of the Week after passing for 363 yards and three touchdowns. Wolford also ran for 136 yards and scored three times, making him responsible for a school record six touchdowns. It’s the second time in three weeks Wolford has won Offensive Back of the Week.

Tight end Cam Serigne caught all three of Wolford’s passes to earn Receiver of the Week. Serigne had seven catches for 119 yards to become the ACC’s all-time leader in catches, yards and touchdowns by a tight end.

It’s the second time in three weeks Wake has won top receiver. Greg Dortch won the honor after the Louisville win.

NC State’s Bradley Chubb continued his stranglehold on the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week award, winning it for the third time this year. Chubb had five tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in the win at Boston College to become NC State’s career leader in both categories.

UNC earned its second win of the season, Thursday night at Pitt, in large part due to the contributions of Anthony Ratliff-Williams. The receiver returned the game’s opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown, added a three-yard reception and threw a 35-yard touchdown pass on a trick play. All three of his touchdowns, scored in a different way, put North Carolina into the lead. It’s the second time this year Ratliff-Williams has won the specialist award, and he has as many kick return touchdowns as the rest of the ACC combined.

Miami led the other weekly winners, after its dominating win over Notre Dame. Right guard Navaughn Donaldson became the first Hurricane since 2014 to win Offensive Lineman of the Week. Safety Jaquan Johnson had an interception to earn Defensive Back of the Week for the second week in a row.

Zack McCloud had five tackles, a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss to earn a share of Linebacker of the Week. He was listed as the co-winner of the honor with Georgia Tech’s Brant Mitchell, who had nine tackles, a sack and 1.5 TFL in a win over Virginia Tech.

The final winner was Clemson running back Travis Etienne, who had 97 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the win over Florida State.
