The ACC announced last week that its football championship game, originally scheduled to be played in Charlotte, would be moved to Orlando in response to North Carolina’s controversial House Bill 2. Tuesday, the league office announced the new sites, venues and dates for eight more of its relocated championship events. They are as follows: ◼ Women’s Soccer — Nov. 4-6, MUSC Health Stadium, Charleston, SC ◼ Women’s Swimming & Diving/Men’s Diving — Feb. 13-16 (change from original date), Georgia Tech Aquatics Center; Atlanta ◼ Men’s Swimming — Feb. 27-March 2 (change from original date), Georgia Tech Aquatics Center; Atlanta ◼ Women’s Golf — April 13-15 (change from original date), The Reserve Golf Club; Pawley’s Island, SC ◼ Men’s Golf — April 21-23, Musgrove Mill Golf Club; Clinton, SC ◼ Men’s & Women’s Tennis — April 26-30, Rome Tennis Center at Berry College; Rome ◼ Baseball — May 23-28, Louisville Slugger Field; LouisvilleThe football championship game will be played Dec. 3 at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium. With the exception of the Georgia Tech Aquatics Center, each of the sites announced on Tuesday will be hosting an ACC championship for the first time. The ACC will announce additional details, including ticket information for all championships, at a future date.
