The polls are closed in North Carolina, and results continue to roll in. As of 8:40 p.m., 733 of 2,704 precincts have reported. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, gubernatorial challenger Roy Cooper and incumbent U.S. Sen. Richard Burr show a lead in the three biggest races of the night, but more than 70 percent of districts still need to post results.
