The North Carolina Board of Elections has ruled that two Durham County precincts will remain open for an additional hour due to earlier technical difficulties at the poll locations. Precincts #31 (Bethesda Ruritan Club) and #37 (Cole Mill Rd. Church) will be open to voters until 8:30 p.m.Six other Durham County sites and the Bogue precinct in Columbus County will also be open past 7:30 p.m.
