NC company ships ambulances to NY

RALEIGH — An Ashe County company is contributing to New York’s battle against the coronavirus outbreak. American Emergency Vehicles in Jefferson, N.C. is a custom ambulance manufacturer with a national brand and dealer network.

AEV, along with other manufacturers within parent company REV Ambulance Group, began fulfilling an emergency ambulance order for the New York City Fire Department. “The men and women of REV Ambulance Group are honored to be able to serve and stand by the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) as they expand their EMS capabilities and contend with the demands of the pandemic,” said Anoop Prakash, Ambulance Division President at REV

Ambulances are also making their way from Horton Emergency Vehicles in Columbus, OH; Wheeled Coach, McCoy Miller and Road Rescue in Orlando, Florida and Leader in South El Monte, California.

AEV’s dealer network extends nationwide and internationally in Switzerland, Guam and Abu Dahbi.
