RALEIGH — The four candidates for North Carolina governor have filed their end of year fundraising results. Democratic incumbent Governor Roy Cooper led the field, raising $3.9 million.
Cooper’s campaign says he raised 90% of those contributions in-state. Cooper has a total of $8.2 million on hand for the March primary and November general election.

Cooper’s primary opponent, Ernest Reeves, contributed $1,556 to his campaign.
Republican Lt. Gov. Dan Forest raised $1.4 million over the past six months and enters the March primary with $932,000 on hand. That amount is significantly more than State Rep. Holly Grange, who raised $103,000 and has $27,000 on hand.
