NSJ’s 2019 NHL Draft Top 100 Prospects

Peyton Krebs, left, was expected to be a lottery pick but suffered an Achilles tendon injury that could impact his draft status. He is ranked 10th in NSJ's draft list. (Codie McLachlan/The Canadian Press via AP)

The Carolina Hurricanes will have 10 picks in this weekend’s NHL Draft, which kickoffs Friday night with the first round. Unlike last year when Carolina picked second overall pick and landed Andrei Svechnikov, the Hurricanes will have to wait until near the end of the draft’s first night to select 28th overall.

North State Journal’s annual top 100 draft list analyzes the evaluations of the best talent evaluators into a composite ranking.
