Trump to speak on deal to re-open government

RALEIGH —President Trump is expected to speak soon on a deal to re-open the government. The White House feed is available here.

Around noon, news aggregator and source The Drudge Report, announced that a deal had been reached to re-open the federal government temporarily. The site, which is frequented by readers and journalists, had the headline:

CBS later reported that Trump was “expected” to back a plan to re-open the government temporarily though a continuing resolution. The White House has not issued a statement as 1:15pm but Drudge has indicated the that deal contains no funding for the wall.
