RALEIGH — Two days after NC State’s home loss to Clemson, the school’s campus police have put out a request for help in identifying several fans.
Following a late-game penalty, fans surrounding one of the field’s exit tunnels threw debris at the referees as they left. Online video shows a fan throw a water bottle that appears to hit a police officer in the face.
Fans also spit on the group of officials and security personnel as they left the field.
