North State Media is seeking qualified candidates who will be responsible for growing digital and print advertising sales for two weekly newspapers and associated products in the North Carolina market. Candidate must be self-motivated and results focused. These commission-based positions will require candidates to manage existing accounts and acquire new advertisers.
- Manage existing advertiser accounts
- Follow up on leads generated by other business units
- Make presentations to potential advertisers
- Attend periodic sales meetings in Raleigh
- Bring in new advertisers
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communications and networking skills
- Understanding of print and digital advertising
- Appreciation for North Carolina
- Ability to work independently
