Harnett County facility helps fight COVID-19 with PPE production

LILLINGTON – This week, Saab Defense & Security USA announced the addition of production lines at its Lillington, North Carolina facility to produce Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Saab will fulfill orders to produce non-surgical isolation gowns for medical facilities across the United States as orders are received by the company.

Saab Defense and Security USA is headquartered in Syracuse, NY and the company is manufacturing four types of Class 1, Level 1 and 2 non-surgical isolation gowns at its North Carolina facility. Orders from multiple state and local medical facilities have already been placed and are currently being filled.
