Duke has announced that star freshman Marvin Bagley III will miss his third straight game when the 12th-ranked Blue Devils play at No. 11 Clemson on Sunday.

Bagley is suffering from what Duke is calling a “mild right knee sprain suffered during the first half of its loss at North Carolina on Feb. 8. He has since missed games against Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech, both Blue Devils victories.

The 6-foot-10 freshman leads the ACC in both scoring and rebounding at 21.2 points and 11.4 boards per game and is well on his way toward earning conference Rookie and Player of the Year honors.

Duke and Clemson are scheduled to play Sunday at 1 p.m. with television coverage on the Raycom ACC Network.
